Video gaming group Keywords Studios, which has its headquarters in Ireland, has been named company of the year at the annual Technology Ireland awards in Dublin.
The Technology Ireland Industry Awards are designed to honour the best and brightest of the country’s technology companies. Now in its 27th year, the awards recognise and celebrate those companies who have achieved exceptional success and developed innovative digital technologies.
Keywords Studios made the shortlist of just five companies in two highly competitive fields – Digital Technology Company of the Year Award and Outstanding Achievement in International Growth Award.
For the Digital Technology Company of the Year Award nomination, Keywords has been recognised for the likes of ASAnalyzer, a ground-breaking cloud-based tool which transforms the detection of potential GDPR issues in mobile game apps from many hours to a matter of only minutes, as well as Yokozuna Data, which is at the forefront of predictive analytics, and uniquely allows tailored consumer offers by accurately predicting individual future player behaviour.
And for the Outstanding Achievement in International Growth Award nomination, the judges noted that this year has so far seen Keywords add more than 1,400 work stations across multiple studios around the globe to support organic growth.
Keywords has also extended its global footprint by adding studios in new locations such Vancouver, Berlin and The Hague via acquisitions.
The winners of the Technology Ireland Industry Awards 2019 were announced at a ceremony in Dublin, Ireland on November 22.
